The Danish Quarter Horse Association DKQHA proudly presents an AQHA show management seminar to be conducted 16-17th April at Tuse Creek Ranch, Hesselvad 15, Butterup, DK-4420 Regstrup, approximately 1 hour from Copenhagen Airport. Faculty will be David Avery and Charlie Hemphill from AQHA headquarters in Amarillo, Texas.
The seminar is open to all AQHA members who have a genuine interest in arranging or managing an AQHA show. Members who have an interest in how AQHA shows work, and/or who would like to help organising shows are welcome too.
This seminar will give you the tools for AQHA Show management including external work with press, sponsors, announcement etc. It will also focus on the formal skills on how to make your show work and how to fill in applications as well as reporting results to AQHA.
Language at the seminar will be English. There will be presentations but also time for discussion as well as time to ask questions during the seminar.
This seminar will give you the right to arrange and manage AQHA Shows for 5 years following the seminar. A Diploma will be awarded to all participants who completed the seminar.

The seminar fee will be DKK 1500 per person. The fee includes:

Seminar educational material including a show seminar book.
The show seminar book contents all information relevant to your job as a manager or secretary at an AQHA show.
You also have the opportunity register as a guest at a reduced fee of DKK 500. This gives you the right to meals and to watching the whole seminar. However you will get no seminar material and no certificate at the end of the seminar. Upgrade can be purchased on site.
