NRHA/IRHA DERBY 2010 RULESOpen to 4-5-6 years old horses.Every rider that enters in the Derby Intermediate Open is obliged to also enter the horse in the Derby Open. The same will happen for the category Non Pro / Intermediate Non Pro. A Ltd Open or Ld Non Pro rider can enter in the Int. class without paying for the Open or Non ProThe Derby is a category 6 NRHA show and we will use the Italian elegibility list. The European/foreign rider who has won in the last three years (all competition are included) more than the last rider of the IRHA top 15 list (Open and Non Pro) can enter only in the Open or Non Pro class. (The average for the Open is € 27.360,14 in the last three years, for the Non Pro € 11.291,03) As the Derby will be a category 6 , all the riders will need to have an Italian membership, an NRHA Membership and a competition licence of both associations.For example: An Italian Open Rider cannot participate in the NRHA Derby Intermediate Open. To access the categories Limited Open and Limited Non Pro every rider must not have won more than € 4.500 ($ 6.300) and € 3.000 ($ 4.200) in career (NRHA earnings included). The Derby will be run in one go round and a slate final.Up to 60 entered horses 40% of the competitors with a maximum of 15 horse and rider combination will access the Derby Open, Intermediate Open, Ltd Open, Non Pro, Intermediate Non Pro and Limited Non Pro Final . Over 60 entries , 20 horse and rider combination will access the final .The finalists for Derby Open, Intermediate Open, Non Pro and Intermediate Non Pro will be paid in decreasing percentage from 1° to the 10° positioning (NRHA schedule).The first place for Derby Open and Derby Non Pro will be guaranteed: $ 16.800 for Derby Open and $ 7.800 for Derby Non Pro.
